On November 28, 2024, Esteban Camacho, CEO of RDC and a key partner of the NATURSEA-PV Project, participated in the 3rd LTC GREEN CONCRETE Industry Open Day hosted at Tecnalia’s premises.
The event addressed the pressing challenges in the construction sector, particularly its role in global CO2 emissions and energy consumption. Esteban presented the latest advancements in green concrete technologies, showcasing innovative approaches developed within NATURSEA-PV to create more sustainable, circular, and energy-efficient solutions for the construction sector.
As outlined during the event, the construction industry is responsible for approximately 21% of global greenhouse gas emissions and 37% of energy- and process-related CO2 emissions. Events like this are critical to fostering collaboration and sharing knowledge to tackle these challenges effectively.
